BASEBALL "JUNIOR” DIVISION RULES
All rules according to most recent Little League Rules and Regulations.
In addition, the following “Local Rules” shall apply:
 
***New Rules for 2011***
Rule 1.10: Added language prohibiting the use of composite bats in the Junior, Senior, and Big League Divisions. Note that the new standard for 2011-2012 will be BBCOR for Junior, Senior and Big League Baseball. (This change applies to Junior League Baseball, Senior League Baseball, and Big League Baseball only.)
Composite Bat Moratorium- The use of non-little league approved composite bats is strictly prohibited. For a list of bats approved for “Junior” Division, follow the below link: http://www.littleleague.org/learn/equipment/approvedcompbats.htm
 
 In addition, the following “Local Rules” shall apply:
*** District 20 Inter-League play shall incorporate additional local rules. ***
The process of borrowing players is under review.
Borrowed players may not play the following positions: Pitcher, Catcher and Shortstop.
Borrowed players must bat last in lineup.
Home Team Manager is responsible to pay the Umpire prior to the start of each game.
Only 3 coaches are allowed in dugout.
 
Managers must exchange batting orders prior to the game and inform each other while the game is in progress when substitutes go in and out, pitchers are changed, etc.

Pitching Reminders:  

Pitchers league age 14 and under must adhere to the following rest requirements:
  • If a player pitches 66 or more pitches in a day, four (4) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 51 - 65 pitches in a day, three (3) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 36 - 50 pitches in a day, two (2) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 21 - 35 pitches in a day, one (1) calendar day of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 1-20 pitches in a day, no (0) calendar day of rest is required.
Pitchers league age 15-18 must adhere to the following rest requirements:
  • If a player pitches 76 or more pitches in a day, four (4) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 61 - 75 pitches in a day, three (3) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 46 - 60 pitches in a day, two (2) calendar days of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 31 -45 pitches in a day, one (1) calendar day of rest must be observed.
  • If a player pitches 1-30 pitches in a day, no (0) calendar day of rest is required.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE ABOVE PITCHING RULES
Balks will be called in this league after one warning per pitcher is given.
